The MAGNA technical team continues to make determined progress in the construction of the new Lisbon North logistics center, developed by MERLIN Properties in Castanheira do Ribatejo. This project not only reinforces the confidence placed in our experience and technical capabilities, but also consolidates our position as a leading partner in the construction of state-of-the-art logistics infrastructure. Under the management of Vitor Hugo – Coordenação e Gestão de Projectos S.A., we guarantee that the project will meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability from foundation to delivery, scheduled for 2027. Our team is focused on achieving key structural and safety milestones: –>
- Cover: It is currently being assembled. This progress marks a structural turning point, demonstrating our ability to manage large structures within defined timeframes.
- Fire Protection Installations: In progress, rigorously implementing the required safety systems to meet the most demanding regulations in the logistics sector.
In the coming weeks, the Electrical Installations, the Siphon System, and the Underground Networks are scheduled to begin, completing the building’s basic technical infrastructure.
The Phase 2 has already begun with the first rigid inclusions, and the installation of the piles will begin shortly, continuing the structural development of the rest of the building. The project, which will have a total area of 100,000 m², will integrate 125 loading docks and has a minimum objective of LEED® Gold certification, underscoring its strong focus on energy efficiency, environmental responsibility, and sustainable construction.
