We continue to strengthen our presence in Portugal with steady progress and visible results. The industrial and warehousing platform Malveira Park, developed in the municipality of Mafra with the backing of Blackstone and Proxity, is reaching key moments in its development.
With a built area of 68,000 m² spread across two state-of-the-art warehouses (55,000 m² and 13,000 m²), this complex stands out not only for its strategic location just 20 minutes from Lisbon, but also for the pace of technical execution our on-site team is delivering.
Current status of the works
Warehouse 2 (13,000 m²)
We are entering the final finishing stage, focusing efforts on operational details and external areas:
▪️ Installations and testing: In the final phase of the electrical rollout ahead of the start of general testing during the first weeks of August. Provisional handover is scheduled for next 3 September.
▪️ Offices and finishes: Final touch-ups are underway in the office area for final handover.
▪️ External urbanisation: Work begins on roadways and parking areas for light vehicles (installation of kerbs/lancil and sub-base layers).
▪️ Slabs: Start of pouring for external slabs, with completion expected in the coming days.
Warehouse 1 (55,000 m²)
The warehouse continues to take shape at a steady pace across its different phases:
▪️ Precast structure: The 3rd phase of structural assembly has been successfully completed. In August we will tackle the 4th and final phase to complete the warehouse frame.
▪️ Roofs and façades: We continue installing the roof in phase 3, while also progressing with the installation of external joinery (caixilharias aluminio) and façade painting.
▪️ Installations and interiors: Ongoing progress on the internal installations for phase 3, as well as the fit-out of the offices corresponding to phases 1 and 2.
▪️ Civil works and exteriors: Slope cladding works on the main embankment have resumed, and we are making good progress on underground infrastructure (buried Medium Voltage and stormwater networks).
