Construction of a multi-level logistics center in Castellbisbal. The plot comprises 25,931 m², with a gross built area of 26,405.19 m² on two floors. The warehouse space is 12,474.56 m² per floor, plus 625.24 m² of office space per tenant, spread over four floors. It also includes a ground floor reception area of 176.40 m².
Furthermore, it has two truck yards adjacent to the warehouse, each with 15 loading points, and an intermediate level of 3,500 m² for parking light vehicles.
The foundation was constructed using prefabricated piles, with an average depth of 17.5 m, upon which a foundation with pile caps was built.
The main structure and walls were constructed of prefabricated concrete, connected to the foundation using a mixed system of trusses and sheathing.
The facades were constructed with 20 cm thick lightweight prefabricated concrete panels plus an architectural solution of 40 mm thick sandwich panels with a 40 mm air gap.
The interior slabs consist of a 20 cm layer of crushed stone (120 MPa) plus an 18 cm thick reinforced concrete slab, designed to support a 7-ton load at the base of a rack (280 x 120 cm).
The roof is a deck type, composed of metal sheeting, 88 mm of rock wool insulation, and 1.5 mm of TPO insulation.
The building’s interior ventilation system is natural on the first floor with smoke vents and forced ventilation via fans on the ground floor.
Access to the truck yard on the first floor is via a prefabricated ramp with a 50cm hollow core slab and a 15cm compression layer (Optimave system).
The exterior paving is concrete, with the Optipave system in heavy traffic areas and 6cm asphalt in light traffic areas.
