Magna and Merlín Properties once again join their paths in the construction of a refrigeration warehouse in the form of a “Design & Build”, implemented in the plot 2.6 of the Logistics Activities Area (ZAL) of the Port of Seville.
The 4,400 m² warehouse has storage, loading and unloading areas (12 docks) on the ground floor and offices on the first floor.
For this project, Merlin Properties has enabled us to take part in the design and development phase of the warehouse project, in addition to the integral implementation of the work.
One of the aspects that Merlin has demanded of Magna for the realization of the project is the sustainability. Thus, the project must have the certification as a building according to the LEED system (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design).
This system certifies that the building meets the most demanding requirements in terms of energy efficiency, use of clean energy, improvement of indoor environmental quality, optimization of water consumption, the sustainable development of open spaces on the plot and the selection of materials that minimise impact.
