Magna developed an expansion of an existing logistics warehouse for the fund manager Invesco in Póvoa de Santa Iria, near Lisbon. The warehouse has 8,800 m2 of new floor space and a 1,300 m2 mezzanine.
Construction of the logistics warehouse in the Solvay Industrial Park, located in Póvoa de Santa Iria, Portugal, is now complete.
With the completion of this project, the process of obtaining the BREEAM Very Good In Use sustainability certification has begun, which is expected to be achieved during its first year of operation. Measures to guarantee compliance with this objective have already been implemented during the construction phase.
This project has represented a new challenge for Magna’s expansion in Portugal, which was successfully overcome thanks to teamwork, one of the company’s fundamental pillars. We faced unique terrain conditions on which the warehouse is built, and this success further strengthens our position in the logistics market and allows us to confidently approach future projects.
