Magna General Contractors has completed and delivered a logistics warehouse of approximately 40,000 m2 of gross built area (warehouse + offices + mezzanine) that it has built in the town of Santa Margarida i els Monjos (Barcelona) for the prestigious Canadian developer Bentall Green Oak.
The warehouse, a Type B building, can accommodate up to four tenants and features two truck bays adjacent to each main facade, each 5,000 m² with 26 loading points.
The project, completed according to schedule, was built on a 74,000 m² plot located in the area known as the second ring of Barcelona, a region with high demand for large-scale logistics warehouses.
This ambitious project will bring significant value to the surrounding area and the municipality of Santa Margarida i els Monjos, as the logistics warehouse boasts a strategic location with visibility from the AP-7 motorway and has also achieved the prestigious LEED Gold sustainability certification.
Magna partnered with DOKEI RE as the main collaborator and representative of the owners on this project. DOKEI RE provided monitoring services during construction, and we extend our gratitude to them for their collaboration during these months of intensive work.

This system certifies that the building meets the most demanding requirements in terms of energy efficiency, use of clean energy, improvement of indoor environmental quality, optimization of water consumption, sustainable development of open spaces on the site, and the selection of materials that minimize environmental impact.
