Following our previous update, the MAGNA technical team has made significant progress in the execution of the logistics platform we are developing for BGO<\/strong> in Getafe (Madrid).<\/p>\n

This development, executed entirely by MAGNA<\/strong> and promoted by HISPAVIMA<\/strong>, involves the complete construction of two key logistics assets for the operator XPO Logistics<\/strong>: a 15,000 m\u00b2 last-mile cross-dock center and a 9,000 m\u00b2 built-to-suit (BTS) logistics warehouse.<\/p>\n

Project Status<\/h1>\n

The project is progressing according to schedule and under strict quality and sustainability criteria, aiming to obtain BREEAM Excellent<\/strong> environmental certification. The project management is being handled by SAVILLS<\/strong>, with monitoring by DOKEI RE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Milestones completed:<\/h2>\n

Earthworks.<\/strong>
\nFoundation.<\/strong>
\nStructure<\/strong> of both the cross-dock<\/strong> and the logistics warehouse<\/strong>.
\nRoof<\/strong> of the cross-dock warehouse<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Works in progress:<\/h2>\n

Infrastructure and ground<\/strong>: Ground stabilization work and spreading of subbase, along with the installation of anti-roll beams in the logistics warehouse.<\/p>\n

Envelopes and facades<\/strong>: Progress on the facade of the logistics warehouse and installation of polycarbonate on the north facade of the cross-dock warehouse.<\/p>\n

Logistics roof<\/strong>: Assembly of beams and purlins to complete the upper part of the second asset.<\/p>\n

Technical Installations:<\/strong> In the cross-dock warehouse, intensive work is underway on the electrical installations, fire protection systems, and networks in the office areas. Downpipes for water drainage are also being installed.<\/p>\n

Landscaping:<\/strong> Trenches are being dug for the stormwater drainage network around the cross-dock warehouse.<\/p>\n

With the completion of this platform, MAGNA reaffirms its position as a strategic partner in the development of state-of-the-art, sustainable logistics assets in both Spain and Portugal.<\/p>\n
