Magna has successfully completed the expansion and adaptation works<\/b> of an industrial building in Gald\u00e1cano, Vizcaya, for the American developer BGO<\/b>. The project was finished in mid-June, significantly transforming the facilities to adapt them to the specific needs of Makro<\/b>, which is already operational in the new facilities.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n
The adaptation carried out by Magna’s technical team deployed to the city of Vizcaya included the creation of two new specialized modules for food preservation: a 900 m\u00b2 freezer room with a height of 10 meters and cold storage rooms for fresh produce and fruit measuring 2,100 m\u00b2 with a height of 10 meters.<\/p> These temperature-controlled areas are complemented by 4,900 m\u00b2 of cold consolidation zones, optimizing Makro’s supply chain and logistics.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nIn addition to these improvements, the project included the expansion of the existing offices by almost 700 m\u00b2 distributed across two sections, providing modern and functional workspaces. New fire protection and electrical systems were also installed, ensuring the safety and operational efficiency of the facilities.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nMagna would like to thank BGO for the trust placed in them to successfully carry out this important transformation.
