Solutec works on the reconstruction of several industrial and logistic warehouses in Ribarroja del Turia (Valencia) damaged by DANA flooding

Solutec quickly and urgently arrived on site to take reconstruction work on the warehouses in the Ribarroja del Turia industrial estate (Valencia) so that the tenants could recover their functionality after the passage of the DANA weather event on 29th October 2024.

Damage caused by the flood was considerable, affecting multiple elements of the warehouses, including façades, offices, interiors, structures, installations and access.

To address the situation, Solutec deployed material and human resources to the area, designing a work plan that included the following tasks:

  • Demolition and removal of unsafe conditions: Removal of all elements that may represent a risk to people’s safety.
  • Structural reinforcement: Repair and reinforcement of pillars, beams, enclosures, roofs and flooring to ensure construction stability.
  • Cleaning and sanitation: Thorough cleaning of sludge and sanitation.
  • Restoration of utilities: Restoring water, electricity and data supplies, as well as the fire-fighting system.
  • Restoration of access and loading bays: Repair of loading bays and accessibility for people and vehicles.
  • Adaptation of interior spaces: Necessary modifications to the offices to optimise their operation

With this project, Solutec demonstrates its commitment to the recovery of economic activity in the area and its ability to take on major challenges in the construction sector.
