Magna strengthens its executive structure in Portugal in anticipation of a significant increase in our activity in 2026
As a clear reflection of our solid and consistent growth in Portugal, where we enjoy the trust of the market’s most prominent real estate developers, we are announcing a strategic restructuring of our operations in Portugal. This measure aims to strengthen our organizational structure and anticipate the significant increase in activity projected for the Portuguese market by 2026.
Therefore, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Sergio Gómez as the new Director of Construction Production in Portugal. This internal promotion is a direct recognition of Sergio’s outstanding professional career, during which he has demonstrated remarkable effectiveness and unwavering commitment as a team leader in Portugal. His promotion not only rewards talent and dedication, but also responds to the need to consolidate our operational leadership in Portugal, ensuring that excellence in execution is maintained at the highest level. Magna’s management especially appreciates his effort and dedication, and has full confidence that Sergio will continue to successfully lead Magna’s production in Portugal during this new and ambitious phase. As a direct result of this appointment, Raúl Píriz, who already holds the position of Production Director in Spain with proven competence, will assume a new and crucial responsibility. Raúl will continue to lead production in Spain and will add to his responsibilities the position of construction director in Portugal.
This dual, high-level role aims to strengthen technical, production, and strategic coordination between both territories, optimizing synergies, standardizing high-quality processes, and ensuring a unified vision for the Iberian Peninsula markets.
We congratulate both of them on their new roles and wish them every success in the important challenges ahead.
