MAGNA ranks among the most sustainable companies in the sector in Spain & Portugal

Thanks to our commitment at Magna to innovation and operational excellence, we’re backed by international recognitions that place us among the most sustainable companies in the sector. We are immensely proud to demonstrate that our activity is aligned with respect for the environment, operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Firstly, we have renewed our ECOVADIS sustainability assessment, obtaining the prestigious silver medal. This recognition places MAGNA among the top 12% of the best rated companies in its sector, highlighting the solid management system and compliance with the highest standards in terms of sustainability.

We have also extended the scope of our AENOR certifications to all our operations in Spain & Portugal — integrating SOLUTEC, a group company specialising in the refurbishment and adaptation of warehouses. As a result, the ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) certifications now cover all of the group’s activities, reaffirming our commitment to quality, respect for the environment and health and safety in the workplace.

We also reaffirmed our adherence to the United Nations Global Compact, whereby we actively commit to business practices that balance economic profitability with environmental and social responsibility.
